McNally Fall Newsletter

Grade 10 Students, and any NEW Grades 11 and 12 Students:

All Grade 10 students, and NEW students in Grades 11 and 12, are encouraged to attend the Welcome Orientation on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 1:00 – 3:30 pm. Please meet at 1:00 in the school gymnasium for an opening presentation. Following the presentation, opportunities will be provided to attend school tours, meet McNally Faculty and students, pay fees, collect bus passes, purchase a lock, locate lockers and make necessary course changes. Students are welcome to bring supplies and other necessary items to their lockers – please ensure you bring a lock to secure all items.

Meet the McNally Faculty

We would like to invite all of our McNally parents and guardians to our “Meet the McNally Faculty Evening.”  We invite you to drop by, meet and visit your child’s teachers and other school staff on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2015 -  5:00 – 7:00 P.M. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the school, upcoming events, and learning activities that are planned for the year.

Any students interested in trying out for the girls’ or boys’ volleyball teams, please have proper attire and shoes as tryouts begin on the first day of classes.

Football camp starts August 17 at McNally. There will an equipment draw at 12 pm, then testing and a practice beginning at 3:00 pm.  Please bring cleats, a mouth guard and wear shorts and a t-shirt.

McNally Curling - City Champs!

Congratulations to the McNally Senior Boys Curling Team for winning the Metro Edmonton Curling Championship.  This wraps up a great year for the curling club in which we also captured the Division 2 Title in the fall curling league and the Senior Girls team lost the finals, winning the Silver Medal.


Bike A Thon
The McNally  Bike A Thon raised over $50,000 for the Firefighters Burn Victims Unit and
Kids for Cancer Foundation. Excellent work by the event leader, Mr. Torrie.            Video
