By taking Spanish 10, 20, and 30 you will be able to communicate with over 300 million people in the world who speak Spanish. One of the biggest reasons that high school students want to learn Spanish is that they want to be able to travel to countries like Cuba, Mexico and the Dominican Republic and be able to talk to the locals. Other students want to learn Spanish because they want to use it in combination with a career like business. Learning Spanish will open doors for you in your life!

 

Exchange opportunities are available through Alberta Education and our school. This is open to Grade 11 students only. You can go to Spain for 2 months and have a Spanish exchange partner come to your home for the same amount of time. At McNally, we promote the program and have a teacher advisor to help with the application process.
